We have two workshops on offer:

Artisan Breads
Food Styling & Photography

These workshops support future learning in Home Economics , Culinary Studies, and Business Studies.

These workshops are practical, engaging and will enable students use these transferable skills and ideas for further studies and the work place.

Option 1 – ARTISAN BREAD WORKSHOPS ( IN PERSON)COURSE OPTIONS

Learning Outcomes

Students will:

  • Learn how to create beautifully presented artisan breads
  • Understand the nutritional elements of each recipe
  • Develop practical industry techniques
  • Explore approaches to sustainable food production and consumption
  • Recipes: Detailed and easy to follow recipes provided for each student.

Certification:

On completion of the programme, each student will receive a Certificate of Completion

OPTION 2: FOOD STYLING, PHOTOGRAPHY & MARKETING

Healthy Fruit Breakfast Food Stylng and Photography

Learning Outcomes

Students will:

  • Learn how to tell a story through creating a beautifully presented breakfast
  • Develop food styling, food photography & videography techniques
  • Using an Ipad or camera to capture eye catching images.
  • Create a scene by using useful props, their creativity and imagination.
  • Learn the basic skills of compostion, lighting and styling to make the food shine
  • Understand the fundamentals of online marketing
